RAID EVOLENARD AND EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS OF VTT – 19-20.06.21

The Raid Evolénard returns to the trails of the Val d'Hérens for a good dose of adrenaline. Following the postponement of the Jura Bike Marathon, the Valais mountain biking event will have the honour of opening the fires of the Garmin Bike Cup, the discipline's French-speaking cup, on June 19 and 20. This year, the popular will compete on Saturday, Sunday being reserved for European Championship races. The Kids will have the chance to ride on brand new courses, while those of the adults remain unchanged. As in recent years, the older ones will have the opportunity to compete on the magnificent 24, 35 and 62 km tracks that make the event a success.

As it has been said, this year the Raid Evolénard has the honour of hosting the European MTB Marathon Championships. The organisers strongly encourage participants to stay at Evolène after the race to attend the show offered by the best specialists from the continent. The routes will begin with a loop around the village, ideal for seeing them at work. Other points of the race are then easily accessible on foot, or even by chairlift to the Chemeuille pasture.

So runners or spectators, come in large numbers to the Val d'Hérens on June 19 and 20.
